Snatch it while you can, it is a rare thing to be in a place of calm and quiet, let the peace of the Lord waft over your soul it is a thing of beauty. Not so in the world, as I recently experienced on a trip to London. As the train trundled from my home town to Waterloo therein ended the shred of normality, mind the gap, and onward to the underground service to reach our destination. We were coming into London as most people were going out of the capitol – do people do this every day?… apparently yes !! You get into a rhythm explained my daughter, hectic to say the least, almost lethal, but obviously a necessity to the thousands that do it every day.
The last steps I trudged upwards took us into the centre of the city, and what an extraordinary place it is, with all its business there is something very special about the streets of London, and it is amazing, the shops full of tempting treasures the buildings so many so awesome ,can this be the city that so long ago was brought to rubble in the blitz.
