What is a relationship? what is a friendship? the status of both are important to people and I was to go down the road to find out the difference if in fact there was one.
I have to say I have had very few friendships in my life but this is not surprising as I read most people only have two real friends in their lives at any one time.
I have also heard said “be careful how you choose your friends because you will become like them and the bible confirms this(Proverbs 13 vs 20).
Friendships seem to come and go, I have known people to have a friend since school days to middle years or even longer, not so for me as my life has been very nomadic or perhaps I have concentrated on my partner,and marriage and children have taken precedence.
Which brings me to relationships, this seems a bit more serious and the word that comes to mind is allegiance a good old 15th century word that means attachment, commitment, dedication, faithfulness, loyalty and devotedness surely a state for a very serious attachment. In the new testament of the bible ( 2 Corinthians 6: vs 14 -18 ) warns Christians how no harmony can be attained by being yoked with an unbeliever
